Richard W. Paige concentrates his practice in general business and commercial litigation. He has represented numerous Fortune 500 companies, including large broker/dealers, automotive manufacturers and suppliers, and insurance companies. He has expertise in areas of commercial contract disputes, business torts, unfair competition and trade secret matters, corporate governance claims, construction issues, fiduciary responsibility claims, insurance coverage matters, and securities litigation. He also has worked extensively on product safety-related issues in the automotive industry, defending product liability suits and assisting clients with NHTSA investigations. Mr. Paige has extensive trial experience, successfully representing clients as trial counsel in state and federal court proceedings. He has also obtained favorable arbitration awards on behalf of his clients in proceedings before the American Arbitration Association and the National Association of Securities Dealers. Mr. Paige is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Defense Research Institute, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
