David J. Ostrem joined Bush Seyferth Kethledge & Paige in 2003 as the firm's lead investigator. As the former lead investigator at the Feeney Kellett Wienner & Bush law firm in Bloomfield Hills, he has 20 years of experience in automotive product liability matters, having worked on numerous investigations and cases on behalf major automobile manufacturers and automotive safety system suppliers. Mr. Ostrem is a technical traffic crash investigator, having completed the full range of traffic crash investigation training programs and seminars totaling more than 300 hours of study. He is a nationally certified child passenger safety technician and a member of his local Safe Kids coalition. Mr. Ostrem also is a former investigator with the Dykema Gossett law firm in Detroit. He received a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice from Michigan State University in 1980. He is a 1981 graduate of the Oakland Police Academy and has 25 years of police experience.
