Scott A. Wolfson has a diverse practice that focuses on bankruptcy and commercial litigation, creditors' rights issues, and loan workouts.  His clients are wide-ranging, and include original equipment manufacturers, automotive suppliers, creditors' committees, debtors, trustees, landlords, financial institutions, corporate directors and officers, preference defendants, and fraudulent transfer defendants.  Mr. Wolfson has significant experience representing large manufacturers and suppliers in potential production interruption disputes.

Mr. Wolfson has written extensively on the subject of bankruptcy litigation.  He is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan, where he serves on the Representative Assembly, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Trial Bar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Wolfson was an equity partner in the Bankruptcy, Reorganization and Commercial practice of Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP.  He graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1995.
